Animals in the streets
A sea lion lies on a pavement in Mar del Plata, Argentina. Deer eat grass next to flats in London, England. Goats walk around the town in Llandudno, Wales. In Monmouthshire, Wales, sheep visit a playground. A family of ducks crosses the street in Paris, France. A kangaroo hops through the city centre in Adelaide, Australia. A black bear enters a residential area in California, USA. And in Barcelona, Spain, wild boar look for food in the city streets.
We don’t usually see wild animals in cities. But there are many recent photos and videos of animals entering towns and cities in different countries around the world. People are staying at home because of the Covid-19 pandemic, and animals are visiting new places!
There is one good thing about the coronavirus pandemic: because there is less traffic on the roads, there is less pollution in the air. This is good for humans, animals and plants. Will it be possible for us to continue with these positive changes? We will see in the future.
